Upcoming Event: NOLA Caribbean Festival

A fun event everybody can enjoy, the NOLA Caribbean Festival will be held on June 23rd and 24th this year. It will be held at Central City BBQ and admission to this event is $15.

The NOLA Caribbean Festival will celebrate all things Caribbean. Enjoy great music, culture, dance, food and so much more. The festival will run from 3pm to 10pm each day.

The Music

This is a very musical event with plenty to enjoy from all types of great musical acts. The lineup for Saturday includes N’Kiruka, Yard Squad Band, Cuban Papi, Neptune Steel Pans, La Tifa, Imani Ray and three DJs. The DJs include DJ T-Roy, DJ Felipe and DJ Megatron.

The fun doesn’t stop on Sunday and the lineup for Sunday is packed with great choices. All three DJs will perform again, along with the Yard Squad Band. In addition, Sunday will include Range, Casa Samba, Muevelo, Scrouge, and Conkarah.

Caribbean VYBZ

Before the festival, you can enjoy the kickoff event called Caribbean VYBZ. It will be held on Thursday, June 21st before the weekend event takes place. The event will feature DJ T-Roy and DJ Green Thumb spinning Reggae, Soca, Latin, Afrobeat and Dancehall music. Special performances from La Tifa and Conkarah will also be a part of the event. The event will be held at The Blue Nile starting at 10pm. Cost of admission is $10.

Caribbean Pool Party

Another event help as a part of the NOLA Caribbean Festival is the pool party. It will be held on Friday, June 22nd from 9pm to 1am. This event will include DJ Half Crazy and DJ T-Roy with Imanin Ray making an appearance. The cost of admission is $10.

Klean: Official After-Party

On Saturday, June 23rd from 10pm to 4am, you can enjoy the official festival after-party. It’s a Blue & White Affair with four of the best DJs in the world performing. DJ Kash, DJ Half-Krazy, DJ Bimshire and DJ Natural Touch will all perform at this after-party.

Festival Tickets

There are no VIP tickets for the NOLA Caribbean Festival. The cost of admission is $15 per day with a $2.89 fee if you buy tickets online. For more information about this event, visit the official event website here.
