Krewe of House Floats

Folks across the city have been turning their own homes into House Floats for weeks, and now there’s an official Krewe of House Floats map designated by neighborhood and theme! Get ready to plan your socially distanced tour of homes from Algiers Point to Kenner and everywhere in between (and beyond).

Floats in the Oaks

Check out “Floats in the Oaks” from February 4th – 14th, and view iconic floats from various Mardi Gras krewes all in one place at City Park! Safely participate in a parade-type event, by viewing stationery floats from your car, while also supporting a fundraiser for the park.

Houses Designed by Professional Mardi Gras Artists

A project of the Krewe of Red Beans, the “Hire a Mardi Gras Artist” initiative used crowd-funding to support artists and materials so that they could create house float designs. Check them out!
