 Continuing on from part one of this blog series, here’s a look at more of the best sports bars in New Orleans.

The Avenue Pub – 1732 St. Charles Avenue

A great choice for those in the Uptown or Garden District neighborhood of New Orleans, The Avenue Pub offers plenty of beer and plenty more. It’s one of the best spots and they are open 24/7 with more than 40 beers to try. Enjoy the big game here and don’t forget to try one of their excellent dishes.

Bayou Beer Garden – 326 North Jefferson Davis Parkway

A Mid-City classic offering a great choice for beer with more than 75 choices, the Bayou Beer Garden also provides a great spot for the big game.

Cooter Brown’s – 509 South Carrollton Avenue

One of the best spots for catching the game or just hanging out, Cooter Brown’s is perfect for those in the Uptown or Garden District area. It’s found in the historic Riverbend section of Uptown and offers more than 400 brands of beer with 45 on tap. Enjoy the big game while enjoying one of the best raw bars in town.

Finn McCool’s Irish Pub – 3701 Banks Street

This bar was nominated as the best neighborhood bar in New Orleans and offers a great spot for those in Mid-City. It’s a lively place to go with plenty of music, great food, and drinks. You’ll find plenty of sports on TV here and if you’re a soccer fan, this is your spot.

Huck Finn’s Cafe – 135 Decatur Street

A French Quarter gem, Huck Fin’s Cafe offers authentic New Orleans cuisine with some of the best dishes in the city. You can enjoy the big game here while dining on some of the best food you will find in the area.

Dave and Buster’s – 1200 Poydras Street

It’s not a local spot, but a chain and still Dave and Buster’s is one of the best places to watch the big game. It’s just a block from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and offers plenty of big screens for the game. You’ll also find old-school arcade games here, plenty of other things to do, good food and plenty of drinks.

J&J’s Sports Lounge – 800 France Street

A great choice for those in the Bywater or Marigny area, J&J’s offers a neighborhood sports bar atmosphere. Enjoy plenty of TVs with large projectors and screen for MLB and NFL action. They even have the European Soccer matches on the big screens during soccer season.

The Boot – 1039 Broadway Street

A popular spot for students, The Boot offers a local bar with great drink specials and plenty of sports on the TVs. Enjoy some pub grub and good drinks while taking in the big game here.
