Spending an evening (or afternoon, this is New Orleans, after all) at a rooftop bar is the ideal way to enjoy a beautiful Summer day in this lively city. Since Summertime and rooftop bars pair together like beignets and cafe au lattes, we’ve curated a list of 7 rooftop bars you must try this Summer.

The Alto at Ace Hotel 600 Carondelet Street

The Alto is a quaint rooftop bar located at the Ace Hotel. Enjoy relaxing poolside while snacking on small plates, sipping seasonal cocktails, and enjoying panoramic views of the city. The Alto is open 11 AM-4 PM on Sunday,  4 PM-9 PM Monday-Thursday, and 11 AM-1 AM Friday and Saturday.

The Pool Club at Virgin Hotel 550 Baronne Street

If you want to be transported to a vacation resort for an afternoon, visit The Pool Club at Virgin Hotel. The Pool Club is a stunning rooftop bar offering scenic skyline views of Downtown New Orleans. You can enjoy small bites and gorgeous cocktails while visiting this rooftop bar. The Pool Club is open seven days a week from 10 AM-10 PM.

Monkey Board at The Troubadour 1111 Gravier Street
