Oak Street Po-Boy Festival is a free festival and a food lover’s dream! The festival features live music, Uptown New Orleans culture, and every type of po-boy you can imagine. In true New Orleans fashion, the festival benefits a great cause. This year, a portion of proceeds will be given to the non-profit organization, Son of a Saint. The Oak Street Po-Boy festival takes place Sunday, November 6th, 2022.

Catch a magnificent broadway play at the Saenger Theatre
Fall theatre is in full swing! This season two highly anticipated Broadway plays are coming to New Orleans. The theatrical classic, The Lion King, will be showing until November 13th, and SIX, a modernized tale of Henry VIII six wives, begins November 29th and runs through December 4th.

Attend the historical Bayou Classic Weekend
Bayou Classic is an inaugural celebration of HBCU culture that includes a football game, race, parade, and a marching band and greek step show competition, Battle of the Bands. The highlight of the annual event is the football game between rival universities, Grambling State and Southern University. The event takes place Thanksgiving weekend, Friday, November 25th through Sunday, November 27th.
