Upcoming Event: NOLA ChristmasFest

The NOLA ChristmasFest event is right around the corner and it’s time to enjoy plenty of holiday fun. This event was started in 2013 by the New Orleans Earnest N. Morial Convention Center. The goal was to increase demand for hotel rooms, retail shopping and dining within the area from Christmas Day to New Year’s Day.

Since the event was started, it has become very popular with residents. It’s filled with all kinds of attractions and helps to get people out and about during the final days of December.

Activities and Attractions

When you come out to the NOLA ChristmasFest, you’ll get to enjoy a number of great activities and attractions. This will be the only place you will find a real ice skating rink in New Orleans, which is the main draw.

You can also enjoy plenty of amazing ice slides, incredible carnival rides, a children’s craft area with a gingerbread house exhibit, plenty of holiday characters, a snowball fighting area, a life-sized maze, inflatables and so much more.

In addition, you can get your picture taken with Santa and enjoy the Christmas Tree Decorator Showcase. Santa will be available for pictures from 11am to 8pm on December 21st, 22nd and 23rd. He will also be available from 11am to 3pm on December 24th.

The NOLA ChristmasFest event is a great way to get out with the family and enjoy plenty of fun. It has become one of the top Christmas events in New Orleans and offer so much for all ages.

Event Information

The NOLA ChristmasFest event will be held at the New Orleans Earnest N. Morial Convention Center. It’s located at 900 Convention Center Boulevard. Parking is available in Lot F for $15.

Tickets can be purchased online for $20 and it’s a Pay One Price ticket. The ticket will include everything except for food and beverage, face painting, parking and pictures with Santa. Tickets can be used one time during the event.

The event will run from December 21t to December 31st from 11am to 9pm daily. The event will close early on Christmas Eve at 5pm and on New Year’s Eve Day at 5pm. It will also only be open from 2pm to 8pm on Christmas Day.
