Upcoming Event: Farm and Table FAMboree

Coming very soon, the Farm and Table FAMboree event will provide a family-friendly festival with free admission for all. It’s a chance to enjoy and celebrate the farm to table movement throughout the community. Sample food from nationally recognized chefs; enjoy cooking demos and so much more!

The event will be held on September 7th and 8th. It will be all about celebrating the cultivation, consumption, and distribution of locally-sourced food and drink. This event will be held at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center with plenty of fun for everybody to enjoy.

The Conference

On September 7th, the event will kick off with a conference starting at 9am. It will include information on the new developments, group discussions, networking and so much more. While this isn’t the main event, it’s one you want to attend if you’re a part of the farm to table movement or you want to be.

Farm & Table FAMboree

The main event will be free for all to attend and will include plenty of fun, education and more. There will be hands-on education, live farm animals and a kid’s discovery zone to keep the younger ones entertained. Cooking and gardening demos will be available with nationally recognized chefs on hand, as well. You can even enjoy plenty of tastings and samplings throughout the event. DIY workshops will be available, along with prizes and so much more.

The event will start at 11am on Saturday. If you want to book a hotel, there is a block available at the New Orleans Downtown Marriott at the Convention Center. The rate is $122 per night and you will need to make a reservation as soon as possible.
