Rêve Agents Are Helping Spread a Message of Love

We’re so excited about the ongoing success of our “Love Your Neighbor, Y’all” yard sign efforts! One of our resolutions for 2021 is to help spread a message of love to our neighbors and communities, and we’ve created special  yard signs in hopes of supporting and encouraging those all around us.

For Every Yard Sign Delivered, An Agent Makes a Donation to a Non-Profit

Here’s how it works: For every “Love Your Neighbor, Y’all” yard sign requested, a Rêve agent delivers a sign and makes a donation to a charity or non-profit of their choice. Our agents have been busy delivering signs all over town, and at the same time, their favorite non-profits are benefitting!

Ryan Wentworth: The Music Relief Fund and The TEP Center

Rêve partner Ryan Wentworth has been delivering signs and donating to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation’s Music Relief Fund, created to support Louisiana musicians whose livelihoods have been adversely impacted by COVID-19. Ryan is also donating to The TEP Center,  a community development in the Lower 9th Ward scheduled to open this spring, with the aim of providing affordable senior housing, office/meeting space for organizations dedicated to social justice, and an interactive exhibition space that will explore the legacy of Civil Rights in New Orleans. Michael Newcomer: The Actors Fund

Rêve agent Michael Newcomer has delivered ten yard signs to date and is making a $250 donation ($25 per yard sign) to The Actors Fund. The Actors Fund provides a safety net for performing arts and entertainment professionals. Founded in 1882, it serves all professionals in film, theater, television, music, opera, radio and dance, through programs that address the community’s needs. The non-profit holds a special place in Michael’s heart, as he is an actor as well as a realtor. Says Michael, “I received a very sweet email from the Actors Fund saying that it was a great way to combine both of my worlds!”

Jeri Wheeler: Bridge House/Grace House

Rêve agent Jeri Wheeler is also busy delivering signs and supporting Bridge House/Grace House, a non-profit whose mission is to empower the addicted through long-term residential substance-use disorder treatment programs. 

Donna Pisani: UnCommon Construction

In support of the Love Your Neighbor, Y’all campaign, Rêve agent Donna Pisani is donating to UnCommon Construction, an organization that uses the build process to empower youth with the skills, network, resources, and experience to lead the workforce after high school or college. Cesily Roberts: Son of a Saint

With her donations, Rêve agent Cesily Roberts is proud to support Son of a Saint, an organization that  provides mentorship, education, recreation, camaraderie, cultural enrichment, and emotional support to fatherless young men in New Orleans.

Suzy Lamore: Giving Hope NOLA

Rêve agent Suzy Lamore has delivered signs and donated to Giving Hope NOLA, a charity that works to feed, clothe, house, and provide fellowship to those in need through its food pantry, orphanages, and retreat center.
