Conti Street Wax Museum Will Soon Be Condos

It has taken what seems like forever for the plans to be approved, finalized and underway. However, come January 2018, the Musee Conti Wax Museum and the annex building will finally reopen. This location will reopen as luxury condominiums called La Cire Condominiums.

Throughout the development of this project, the original facade was maintained for the museum and the annex building. In addition, the developers added two floors to the main building and one floor to the annex building.

Overall, the buildings will be home to 16 residential units with plenty of amenities. The luxury condo building will offer hot tubs, sun decks, a rooftop pool, a fitness center and more. There will also be 15 optional parking spaces for those choosing to call the La Cire Condominiums home.

The Penthouse Unit

The penthouse unit is listed for $2,899,000 and offers more than 2,200 square feet of living space. It also includes another 1,650 square feet of patio space, a 219-square-foot balcony and so much more. The unit is a three bedroom, three bathroom units with only the best fixtures and features. It even comes with a private pool.

Three total penthouse units will be available and they will all be a bit different. Two of the penthouses will be found in the main building, while the other will be a standalone penthouse in the annex building.

The Least Expensive Unit

For just $499,000, buyers can enjoy living in this luxury condominium building. This price is for the least expensive unit, which is a ground-floor unit with 770 square feet of living space. It includes one bedroom, one bathroom and an open floor plan with recessed lighting, large windows and much more. The kitchen includes stainless steel appliances with both granite and quartz countertops. This unit does provide a private patio with about 128 square feet of outdoor space.

While it’s sad to see the Musee Conti Wax Museum close, the new luxury condos will provide something rather unique for the area. The building is expected to include a four-story courtyard in the main building, which provides a great community space for residents.
