Joseph Louis “Lou” Tonore III brings a strong foundation in architecture, design, and construction to his real estate practice. Passionate about the history and character of New Orleans homes, Lou is especially drawn to properties with potential, helping clients envision how spaces can evolve to meet modern living while preserving their original charm.
A graduate of LSU’s School of Architecture with a minor in Architectural History, Lou is a Licensed Architect (LA#9825), AIA, and NCARB-certified professional. His background gives him a unique perspective on residential real estate, allowing him to advise clients on functionality, renovation possibilities, and long-term property value with both creativity and technical expertise.
Based in Uptown New Orleans, Lou works with both buyers and sellers, bringing a strategic and collaborative approach to every transaction. Known for being energetic, innovative, and kind, he is committed to helping clients make confident, informed decisions while uncovering opportunities others may overlook.
Outside of real estate, Lou enjoys home improvement projects, landscape and outdoor design, and spending time with his large Lebanese family and lifelong friends at Lake Bruin. He is also the creator of Lou’s Ballz, a custom Mardi Gras and seasonal décor business inspired by New Orleans culture and celebration.
