Before transitioning into real estate, Kim spent two decades in the film and television industry as a Set Decoration Buyer, where she developed a strong sense of proportion, spatial awareness, and historically informed design. Her background also includes work as a jeweler, art restorer, and Mardi Gras float sculptor—creative experiences that sharpened her attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, which now serve her clients well.

Outside of real estate, Kim enjoys walking through the city with her dog, Archer, traveling to historic destinations, and spending time with her husband and two sons. She also supports her community by staying engaged with the local culture and architecture that continue to inspire her.
